“View Responders” option more prominent

Make the “View Responders” option more prominent and quickly accessible from the initial call notification, especially for officer-level users.

For officers, one of the first priorities upon receiving a call is understanding who is responding and what resources are en route. Currently, accessing this information requires navigating into additional screens, which can slow down critical decision-making.

Proposed Solution:

Add a clearly visible “View Responders” button directly on the initial call notification popup
Consider allowing this view to open by default for users with officer roles
Ensure the responder list is optimized for quick scanning (names, roles, ETA/status)

Benefits:

Faster situational awareness for command staff
Supports quicker decisions on staffing, apparatus response, and mutual aid
Reduces the need for additional radio traffic to confirm personnel availability
Aligns the app workflow with real-world command priorities

Additional Consideration:
Role-based customization could allow officers to default into the responder view, while firefighters retain quick-action response buttons—balancing both workflows effectively.

Improve Call Notification Popup with Quick-Select Response Buttons

Enhance the call notification popup to allow users to quickly select their response status directly from the initial alert screen.

Currently, users must tap into the details view, locate the “Current Status” section, and select from smaller options within a scrollable area. This adds extra steps and requires more attention, which can be inefficient and potentially unsafe—especially when users are on the move.

Proposed Solution:
Update the initial popup to include large, clearly visible buttons for the most common response actions, such as:

These buttons should be prominently displayed (stacked vertically or in a simple layout) to allow for fast, one-tap selection without needing to open additional screens.

Benefits:

Additional Consideration:
These quick-select options could be customizable by department, allowing agencies to tailor the buttons to match their operational preferences.
